“Be Yourself because everyone else is taken” said Oscar Wilde. I guess that's what happens when I put brush to board. Born in the 80's in France I am highly influenced by the 90s culture and being trained as visual merchandiser, I am naturally drawn to painting still life with a specific attention to composition. My work explores people's desires and personalities through their possessions, and questions the urgency of owning so much, beyond our needs. I always seek to tell a story through my paintings and engage the viewer to wonder what is going on. I offer you a sugar-coated reality, sprinkled by 90s TV, game and fashion influences.
